The BMW Group favoured a smooth transition when carrying out the generation change of the bestseller BMW X3. The end of production of the first generation of the Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) was celebrated at the plant of the Austrian production partner Magna Steyr in Graz yesterday. Production of the new BMW X3, which will be launched on the German market on 20 November 2010, will begin today at the BMW Spartanburg plant in the US state of South Carolina. Nissan Announces Pricing for 2011 Maxima & Sentra
Nissan today announced U.S. pricing for the 2011 Nissan Maxima and 2011 Nissan Sentra sedans. Both vehicles are on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide.
The 2011 Maxima is offered in two well-equipped models – Maxima 3.5 S and Maxima 3.5 SV, each featuring a standard 290-horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve VQ-series V6 engine and Xtronic CVT transmission. Revisions for 2011 include new rolled edge tailpipe finisher; new smoked headlights (Sport models); new dark chrome grille (Sport models) and unique shiny gray interior stitching (Sport models). Infiniti today announced a new addition to the popular Infiniti G Line, the G25 Sedan, which features a 2.5-liter V6 engine. It is scheduled to go on sale at Infiniti retailers nationwide in September, joining the Infiniti G37 Sedan, G37 Coupe and G37 Convertible. It will have a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $30,950 USD.
