2013 Subaru BRZ Sports Car Makes US Debut

The all-new, rear-wheel drive Subaru BRZ sports car made its United States debut today at the North American International Auto Show at Cobo Hall in Detroit. Arriving in Subaru dealerships this spring, the BRZ delivers pinpoint handling precision and an unmatched driving experience for sports car enthusiasts of all skill levels.

Subaru developed the BRZ with the fundamental of sports car design in mind: low vehicle weight, an ultra-low center of gravity and precision steering. Utilizing Subaru’s naturally aspirated 200 horsepower horizontally opposed (BOXER) engine design is a sports car that does not sacrifice everyday comfort and practicality. 2012 Dodge Charger Redline with 590 hp

Scion Unveils FR-S Production Sports Car‎

Scion tonight unveiled its 2013 FR-S compact rear-wheel drive sports car to a crowd of eager car enthusiasts. The high-performance coupe is the fifth model to join the Scion family and will go on sale in the spring of 2012.

Hyundai Genesis Hurricane SC Coming To SEMA

To showcase the extreme power of Hyundai’s most popular performance car, Hyundai teamed up with Magnuson Products, Rhys Millen Racing, Harman International and Torvec Inc. to develop and build a special edition prototype Genesis Coupe, the Genesis Hurricane SC.  HATCI, Hyundai’s design, technology and engineering branch, will display the high-performance Genesis Coupe in Hyundai’s 2011 SEMA Show booth from November 1-4, 2011 in Las Vegas.

The Genesis Hurricane SC represents a two year development effort by HATCI, as its engineers worked to enhance all aspects of the vehicle including power, traction, braking, exterior and interior design and audio system.  Highlighting the performance modifications, HATCI teamed up with Magnuson Products to supercharge Genesis Coupe’s 3.8L V-6 engine with a liquid to air intercooler, producing more than 450 horsepower.
