The only down fall to these cars is they are not real. The thought that goes into these concept cars are amazing but practically not all the best. Some of these cars would be so hard to drive and if they broke i bet they would be expensive to fix too.

I’m going to have to disagree with the general consensus here – I feel these cars are just stylistically awful, with no real charm or practicality. I do understand that concept cars are not ‘road ready’, but there doesn’t seem to be any features on these vehicles that would be of any use. I think the designers have watched too many bad science fiction films and it reflects in these ‘futuristic’ monstrosities. I can only hope that one day, car manufacturers will design something that’s actually appealing, instead of developing these appalling design excesses.

I’ve seen some ugly POS cars in my time but these are the worst ones yet. Why can’t the car makers design a comfortable car for families that are safe and fuel efficent besides junk like this. Personally I believe a bit of history could be made by going back to the old model T and up grading the engine to a hybrid. That would be cool.

The Ford Airstream is extremely cool…..Being an Industrial designer from a school that has an Automotive design program….I feel this one is ready for marketing now…it has functional aspects combined with innovative styling and an obvious throwback reference to a famous product….future+retro to be appreciated by both older and younger consumers

You are exactly right TNcarnut! Look up the history of the Firebird, Corvette, and Mustang. All originally concepts. Even Henry Ford would not have been able to put the Model T into production without a “concept”!

Doesn’t matter who has the bigger “d*$k” but who has the bigger idea to make our future vehicles more greener, efficient, faster and so much more awesome looking!
